If you like the faux military/ camo-formal wear look, yes. Otherwise not really.

Stopped a the Barneys Warehouse sale yesterday. What a madness. Not much interesting stuff left, and it was probably taking like 1 hour to get to the casher. I gave up after 10 min. Labor Day in the afternoon was probably the worst moment to get there, I should have gone on Saturday morning/early afternoon.

I was there... you really didn't miss much. I left w/ a pair of red cashmere socks.

40 minutes to get socks was a dream back in soviet russia. Line was normally 2 days long. And it was snowing.

I haven't seen much new stuff. There are some Jack Victor jackets and some lovely HF SCs. HF stuff is $299. Isaia shirts for $169.

Wow, many sizes left in the Brioni tux's? If someone could proxy me a 38R if there are any left I will give a 50% proxy fee. Missed this while I was working in NYC this summer; they were at $1200 when I was there.

Cheers

Seriously - I would pay for a proxy too for a 42R.

Anyone stop by the Proper Cloth sample sale? I'm wondering how sizing works if anyone knows.

No idea but I'll definitely stop by tomorrow

They are sizing by neck, then you have to try stuff on to see if the sleeves and body fit. Use "the beggar" to get two shirts for $20 each.

The selection was decent, a lot of blues and whites.
