Actually it's black fleece, not GF. The GF suits have been here a while. The Thom Brown stuff is recent. They also have a ton of black fleece ties for $35.

The best of the bunch was the flannel pinstripe. Unfortunately I can't pull off black fleece.

Forgot to mention that C21 has a few Simon Spurr suits in 38R and 40R at $599/699 (reg $3k).

They're made by Caruso and are fully canvassed. They had a charcoal 3 piece and a navy pinstripe.

I didn't know RF had high-quality suits. The cut is very similar to RLBL (very very strong shoulder) but are even slimmer in the chest than RLBL. The 40R had a 18.5' shoulder and 19.5' on the chest.

If you want a slim suit that's made to higher standards than RLBL, go for the SP.

Any Memorial Day sales for those of us who arent in the Hamptons?

How is Simon spurr made to higher standards than RLBL? Just wanted to get more info since RLBL was Caruso made and now is St Andrews made so they seem comparable.

I believe the Spurr suits are made to Sartoria Parma standards, which is Caruso's highest line. RLBL is good quality, but is mostly machine made from what I've read on the forum.

Cool thanks for the info Othertravel. May I ask which C21 so I can swing by and take a look?

Thanks for taking the time. I really appreciate it,

No problem. It was the C21 in Manhattan.

The navy pinstripe is an amazing suit. Navy pinstripe with peak lapels.

If you pick one up, make sure it has the Caruso tag. Some cheaper SP suits are made somewhere else.

Aren't there a few in Manhattan? I would assume you mean the one by the WTC, right?

Yes sorry, the one by WTC has the Spurr suits.

The charcoal stripe 3-piece suit has some loose buttons on the vest. If you show it to the manager, they might knock off another 10%. I did that with a tie that had pulls.

Sftiger: I think the same C21 has a bunch of Church Diplomats too.

Very interesting. I will have to stop by. They randomly have some very nice shoes there, but almost never in my size...
