I was going to say that's a hella good job. My confusion because there was a discussion of your boots being resolved and thought these were the ones. My bad.

No worries.

Just stopped by. Everything is 75% off retail and some as-is items are 85% off. Sale was pretty packed at 10:15 this morning. Even at 75% off Kiton is too much for me to stomach so only picked up an "as-is" shirt and tie at $105 and $36 respectively.

Plenty of stock left. Also one amusing item I saw was an "as-is" suit that was about $1,500 after the discount except it had a 3"x12" rectangle cut out of the cloth.

^ Thanks. I don't think it's worth trudging uptown in the snow for. If I lived in Chelsea, I might consider checking it out. I'm looking to slow way down on the RTW, anyway.

The cashmere jackets I looked at were around $2000. Some of the suits were closer to $1000. I left empty-handed.

I posted a fairly comprehensive write-up on the PSA thread and the original sample sale thread.

I think it's worthwhile if you're able to drop a chunk of change and fall somewhere between size 38 and 44.

if you have small or big feet there are some nice shoes to be had at 80% off.

Some nice tux shirts that were used in shoots at 90% off in the as is section.

Lotta colorful belts in exotic skins if that's your thing too..

What size did you mean when you said big feet and what were prices if you remember. Thanks

Here's what I wrote about shoes on the other thread:
"My impression of the shoes was that your typical balmoral was retailing for $3k, so you'd be looking at $750 plus tax. I think that's probably a good deal given the quality. Looked like a decent selection from 9 up with a mix of conservative dress shoes and suede casuals (although I wouldnt be surprised if sizing was off just based on my eyeball estimate - looked to run a little big to me)."
