Dunderdon, the Swedish workwear label, is having a sample sale.  It started today and continues through business hours tomorrow.  25 Hudson Street, Chinatown.

For suits and jackets yes. For everything else, not really. I have found a couple of lucky pieces like a cashmere sweater and some ties.

Store selection same/similar to online for Barney's Warehouse sale? I work like 1 block from the store in midtown.

Online? Certainly not the same as the Midtown store. The brand selection on shirts and shoes is VERY limited. I have been only to three of them and at different times (Fall is better IMO). The only good selection seems to be jackets and suits.

Worth checking it out then since I'm looking for a suit and maybe a sportcoat. Maybe even try to pick up a few extra to flip on B&S. I heard they heavily discount the last two days, is that true?

 

I've only lived in NYC for a couple weeks now, so I'm sure I'm in for an experience. I thought C21 on a Saturday afternoon was nuts. Not quite like shopping in midwest suburbia.

C21 is nuts all the time except early morning at 7:45 AM.

I've never really shopped too much at the downtown location recently, but the UWS location seems pretty civil all the times I have been there. Not sure how the selection is between the two as I only buy undershirts and socks at Century 21.
