Manhattan Sales Alert!! - Page 30

Come one , come all....

The Paul Stuart "Private Sale" starts tomorrow June 20th at the 45th and Madison store. I have no idea what the discounts will be (especially on shoes) but it's always worth a look.

Did someone already post that the Domenico Vacca sale is this week? It starts today I believe, I'm sorry I forget the details but hopefully someone can fill them in...

Polo.com and stores start another round of sales tomorrow, up to 60% off. So a pair of RLPL can be had for $340 if it's 60% off but I doubt it. Any coupon circulating around I can stack up on the discount?

Also, Isaia suits are $750 (not many) & Corneliani jackets for $300 (better selection); some new Battistoni ties; same horrid RLPL shirts....

I glanced on Friday and only remember that the sizes were all mixed up & didn't correspond to the size indicator on the rack - there were maybe a dozen suits total...

Yeah, it seemed to be a mixed bag -- I seem to recall a couple of 42 and 44, some in regular and some in long. Wasn't impressed with any of them...

Walked through last night - there were 14 on the rack, 1/2 of them 38, the rest 42(44?) and up. Noticed a couple mixed in the regular suits, also marked down. They're a motley mix of, for the most part, not-particularly attractive stripes, and a nice glenplaid...

Malo = meh. Nothing great. A few pieces marked down by 90% (the rest 80% off), but mostly odd colors and styles, and very little in smaller sizes.

Yes, but for those of us who look to the larger sizes, did ya happen to notice the selection?

Almost all clothes. Two linen (?) blankets and a cashmere hot water bottle. They had some nice sportcoats, polos and sweaters, but not much I would have bought even if it was in my size. It's worth stopping by if you're in the neighborhood, but not worth a special trip, I think.
