Knee Trouble

I jumped off a flight of stairs about two weeks ago and I didn't land properly on my feet. How long should it take before my knee is good enough for running again?

Depends on where it hurts, when it hurts, and how much it hurts.

I feel a little bit in my left knee joint whenever I put force, think running, onto my left leg.

See a doctor before you continue doing strenuous shit. It's worth the price of your copay to ensure you aren't worsening preexisting damage.

Does it hurt when you bend the knee at a particular angle?

Lying on your back with the leg in the air, can you move the tibia vertically?

If so, don't bend it at that angle.

Well, really, if it's a meniscal tear that won't require surgery that's the best way to heal it.

The answer is simple ......... if it hurts when you start running then don't run. If it doesen't then keep going.

I think you should in the first instance cut out the daily 'leaping of tall buildings'.
