Why do Neapolitan-style jackets sometimes look 'off' / wrong?

The shoulder line is 'aggressively natural' but then the fabric is loose (as it has to be) below the sleevehead, hence the whole area is unbalanced. My stomach turns over looking at that silhouette.

The shape of the quarters together with the patch pockets look juvenile and/or feminine. The buttoning points are too high and the jackets just a touch too short.

Someone tie up this heretic. I'll get the fire started.

I would strongly suggest that you don't buy one. Seriously. I've analyzed your comments and have concluded that these aren't your cup of tea.

You tie him to the stake first, then start the fire, n00b. It's like you've never been to Salem or something.

Another hallmark of the Neapolitan style.

This sounds sensible, but how do I know you aren't tricking me into wearing punch caps with my dinner suit all over again?

Good sleeve pitch, though.

Is that what it means when the sleeve doesn't curve in all sorts of funny ways?

manofstyle,
You sound just like me when I see English styled/made suits.

Nope, that's what it means when Manton chums the water...
