AFAIK its the Belgian equivalent, long history, probably a Belgian royal warrant etc

Is anyone aware of London or Paris retailers, for the Mens Bags?
Delvaux's own 'e-shop' is down until September.
Colette sell them, though I believe only the womens range.
I really want to check out the 'Newspaper' Bag.

^ That newspaper bag has an obnoxious "1829" embossed into the leather.

I'm not sure what's going on behind the scenes, but over the past 2 months or so they just suddenly started to really push PR and ads. They're definitely nice bags though.

I've checked it out - it's nice stuff - overpriced IMO.

I too like the newspaper briefcase. I abhor all forms of exterior labeling (today's WAYW post notwithstanding) and I didn't find the 1829 to be that obnoxious, or even that noticeable.

If anyone wants something priced ((or purchased and shipped) let me know and I'll run over there. It's about a 10-minute walk.

Delvaux is very high quality stuff and quite understated compared to brands of similar quality.

updating this thread with some high resolution pictures of the newspaper briefcase. wonder if anyone has experience with it or the brand in general, and where else to buy besides their e-shop and barneys?
