  • SuitSupply sweaters in M fit me pretty well (a tad long).
  • I have a coat in SuitSupply's Miami fit in M that also fit pretty well (arms were a bit too long).

I wonder if SuSu changed their sweater fit then? I have a cotton/cashmere knit sweater in M from 1-2 years ago which has a very square fit: this would definitely not come to mind as a garment for the long & skinny. It doesn't fit me very well but then again I'm between 36R and 36L (varies by brand). I wish SuSu would get 36L suits/jackets as 36R fits great in shoulders and chest but is much, much too short.

Nice to find this thread. I have the same problems as you guys.

Recently I've struggled with finding a jacket that fits me both in length and sleeves, I've ordered 38L (94) from SuSu and they're abit too long over my behind, classically fine but feels so long on me. Having a hard time deciding wether I'm gonna return them or not. 38R (48) is out of the question =(.

Tried a few italian brands too, Brando (38R, Lubiams brand) is just too small, covers half ****** and 2 cm too short in sleeves.
Boglioli was pretty nice, Paul Smith was also ok in 38R (48R).

Any advice on jackets? Should I suck up that they feel 'long' according to todays fashion, or should I just accept that they're a 'classic' length?

First jacket looks a little tight around the waist, second one could be a bit longer IMHO. Don't think any of hem is too long. Maybe you should look at MTM.

Here's one SB Havana jacket in 38L (94) and a DB Madison jacket, same size.

Do you have any others with better lighting? I'm concerned about the buttoning point being too high on the 38L.

Also, anyone know what the shoulders measure on the 38's?

Also, tuck the tag in if you can. And post to the tailors fit and feedback if you want more help. But they will say the same - More pics, waist level (a little higher) with lighting. Not in a shadow. Looks kinda good to me tho/

I have a couple 38L pieces I no longer need. PM me if interested.
