I hope Federer wins it. With Nadal out, this may be his (last) best chance to win the FO. Still not an easy road though. If he gets past Monfils, who is playing well, he probably faces Del Potro in the SF and then I think the winner of Murray/Gonzalez in the F.

Indeed. I think he might still beat Monfils, but I see him losing in SF.

I like Federer and I'd like to see him win, but so far he has not played well enough to be a real favorite.

Soderling is really taking it to Davydenko right now. Nice to see him get up for the next match after the epic upset...

Quoting for LULZY-ness.

Even though I barely respect A-Rodd as a player and think he is a terrible player, you don't MISS SHOTS the way he did without there being some external, non-injury factor hurting his play. In this instance: no light.

Admit it: the French Open is a hostile tournament for Americans.

Wasn't Roddick already down a set when he complained about the lack of light? It looked like a bit of gamesmanship on his part to slow Montfils's momentum. I don't blame him for trying.

Gamesmanship doesn't mean you make yourself look like a fifth or sixth rate junior player.

Which, somehow, was only a problem for him and not for the other guy. Got it, makes perfect sense.

Indeed. I also don't blame him for trying but to read this taken at face value and as a proof that FO is anti-American is pretty hilarious.

Nice that Federer pulled it out, but losing a set for the past 4 rounds isn't very impressive for him....I would absolutely love to see Fed win it but I dont know if he can get past Murray, Fed's just a step slower this year than last year.

I'm rooting for Federer but betting on Murray.

Not everyone has the same eyesight?

And seriously, you think he was intentionally trying to embarrass himself in such an absurd manner? Someone with an ego four times the size of an average Frenchman's? Please, please, spare me the tripe!

Quoted for lolz. This is all I'm gonna say on the subject, if you are going to accept from now on every poor excuse a player uses, I have nothing to add.
