^^^ This.
Though I have since quit smoking cigarettes (due mainly to the expense and the annoying habit of hiccuping every time I would light up), I still am happy to indulge in nasal snuff and pipe tobacco.
The anti-tobacco rhetoric is ridiculous. The chemical additives and fillers, as well as the government-mandated anti-burn treatments have as much to do with cancer as the tobacco itself.
Why is is that Japan has a higher smoking rate, but a lower cancer rate?

Also, it's weird how I don't have and never have had nicotine cravings. I feel like a smoke because I want to so I do, but I've gone months not smoking and been fine and months smoking daily and been fine. Then again, I go months without coffee too...
