Allergies to perfume is a small percentage? I would say if you shower in the stuff most people are going to sneeze. (Note: I have always leaned towards helping people to quit smoking)

Lucky Strikes are pretty easy to find by me; they're my go-to when I can't get Shepheard's Hotel, English Ovals, or Benson Hedges De Luxe.

I like how people turn so vitriolic against smoking and the concept of second hand smoke. The idea of sidestream, secondhand, or remote smoke is total bunk. Yes, it might make someone with asthma, emphysema, etc... cough but honestly secondhand smoke is not going to give anyone cancer, nor will it give them asthma (unless they are consistently exposed to it for a long period of time).

I'm in college, I like to smoke... It is my one vice. I don't drink, don't smoke pot, nor do I indulge in other drugs. So, seeing as smoking is my one real vice, I have gotten to be sort of a connosieur. I used to smoke a pack of either camel nonfilter or lucky strike nonfilter a day. I now roll my own. Occaisionally though, I'll buy a pack of something a little different. English ovals are my all time faves, I like John Player Navy Cut, Chesterfield, Pall Mall (for when I am really feeling Kurt Vonnegut-ey), and every once in a while I smoke a pipe.

Being in college there are any number of anti-smoker-activist-wannabes who are more than willing to expound their personal philosophies to anyone holding the dreaded "death stick". Some kid was walking by me and started doing the obnoxious fake cough that hardcore anti-smoker people do to try and embarass smokers. I wheeled around and shouted, "Wow, that sounds like a nasty cough. Maybe you should get the dick blocking your windpipe removed."

With any luck, his day was ruined. Hopefully his life as well.

Do some of you smokers need a proxy for Shepherd's Hotel cigarettes? My local smoke shop is always carrying these. I tried a couple yesterday; curiously tangy.

I've been smoking those really small Davidoff cigars lately, mostly because I can finish one between the office and home.

I like the taste of tobacco, but not the feeling that my lungs have been reamed with a dirty pipe cleaner. I guess it will be mouth cancer over lung cancer for me!

Guess we'll be seeing you in our Cigars thread pinned up top then huh?

That signature is pretty humourous, is it from a thread here?

I, for the last 5 years of my life, (I'm 20) smoked cigarettes whenever possible at first, socially and all day long, but in the more recent years I've kept it to only when drunk. However, hacking in the morning and a goal to sport whiter teeth has led to a considerable cutback - I smoke only 3 cigarettes per month now. Their aesthetic is undeniable though. I'm just trying something new.

^^ I was buying Merci cigarettes from a smoke shop near union sq. for a while. Same packaging, taste, etc., just different name. I'd like to say somewhere around 10th and university maybe?

Did u buy those recently? For many years i would buy the French cigs at the smoke shop next to Bowlmor Lanes... but they told me they stopped selling the imports a while ago.

I think i am going to have to take a risk with these online cig stores. I dont care about paying taxes, etc... i just want my French cigs!!!
