Fructose does nothing for muscle glycogen and excessive liver glycogen = fat... so what's the point?

Key word: excessive.

Don't cram yourself full of non-fibrous fruit and you'll be fine. Fibrous fruit - namely, mixed berries, are very, very good for you. No need for debate.

Nobody here for pro+fat pre-workout?

I do 2 tbsp of cashew butter or all natural PB and 2 scoops of a custom blend from TP.

I'm not a fan of coffee before working out. It has been shown to limit blood flow to the heart. I usually eat a couple of tablespoons of peanut butter and a banana.

A hefty chimarrao does the trick on the caffeine.

+1 on maca root powder, for sure. Cheap in bulk on ebay, great when you get up to the 4-5 tablespoon range in your water jug during your lift routine.

I take a NO supplement called "White Flood" by controlled labs. It gave me a crazy buzz for a couple months but has tapered off a bit recently. Going to stop taking it for a while and then pick it up again. At any rate, it makes me feel good when I'm working out. Not sure why people dismiss NO products so easily. Here is an ingredients list if anyone cares to take a gander...

Laugh if you like, but I eat a couple pieces of peanut butter toast before hitting the gym at around 5:15 am.

Pre-workout, don't buy any kind of nitro-tech super XXX massive workout boost powder; its a load of shit. The supplement industry is a scam and the only things you should be taking are multivitamins, fish oil, whey and creatine if you want.

Which, ironically, has the same long-term side effect of nervous system damage, according to some local trainers + GNC staff. I don't know what to think about that, meself. As long as I have complex carbs, I'm happy.

The personal trainers at my gym are dumb, they get people to do 1/4squats with like 10kg each side and with the pussy pad on the bar. GNC sucks, everything is overpriced and they'll point you to the most expensive shit there is. Creatine is in red meat and fish jus sayin.....

Ergopharm's AMP 2 is one of the best. It will give tons of energy without the jitters. Since Patrick Arnold sold the company, it maybe hard to find right now.

People dismiss it because it's proven that NO/Arginine has no effect on performance.

The 'buzz' you're getting is from caffeine, some other stims, and placebo. You can get the same effect for 1/50th the cost by taking some caffeine and a b vitamin.
