I've been watching nothing but chick flicks lately. A few off hand that weren't awful.

Under the Tuscan Sun
Muriel's Wedding
Sideways
50 First Dates

Is sideways really considered a chickflick?

It's dangerously close for comfort.

OK, I saw it on a plane, so I was somewhat of a captive audience, but Nights in Rodanthe with Richard Gere and Diane Lane was, tolerable, for someone like me who does not tend to like chick flicks a great deal.

Sideways is not a chick flick. A lot of women hate it. Sally Quinn of the Washington Post summarized it this way (roughly paraphraising): "Sideways is about two losers who go on a road trip, hook up with two beautiful women way out of their league, and then dump them."

As far as chick flicks go, Can't Hardly Wait is pretty good.

27 Dresses. Katherine Heigl is still hot.

The only chick flick I've ever enjoyed is "Love Actually," so that gets my vote.

A life Less Ordinary is sort of chick-flickish. Love that movie though.
