The "too big for your jeans" support group thread - Page 4

I can't help but lol at a bunch of people on a forum filled with guys at an average weight of 128lbs criticizing others for building muscle.

^not criticizing i just think a lot of fat asses blame their thighs. my thighs have been as big as 30 and i've never had an issue.

Ugh, I know what it's like. I don't have massive legs, but my lower body proportions and where I store fat makes skinny jeans look weird. I wish there was some way to decrease thigh size without atrophying the muscles.

Yup, this is happening to me. I'm happy I've been staying consistent enough with my eating to make some real gains at the gym, but it sucks to be growing out of all my clothing. I think the best way for me to rationalize it is to think that it's a great excuse to start fresh and buy only the clothes that I know I will like and wear, now that I've had a couple years of experience with this hobby. I'm going to have to find some affordable "interim" clothes until I reach my goal weight. Will probably keep a very minimalist wardrobe over the next year or two for that reason. I might not even wear jeans at all... by the time I have good fades going, I'll probably have outgrown them again. Also annoying will be the loss of various outerwear pieces; they're not as easy to replace as shirts and pants. Thankfully, since I've developed a fanatical interest in fit during my time here, I'll be extra-motivated to maintain my gains after I sell off all my smaller-sized clothing

My thighs are pretty average (certainly not skinny), but I've got a sprinter's ass. I buy pants and jeans that fit my ass and have the waist taken in to fit my waist. It is easier for dress pants with the curtained waist band, but jeans can be taken in too and can be done so that it's barely noticeable.

Squats + deadlifts + fat + Skull 5010xx = Expect me to post here again soon detailing how I popped half the stitching while attempting to tie my shoe.

I had been off my regular workout schedule, just coming back onto it for almost a month now. That said, my clothes don't fit right anymore...it ain't because the muscle in my thighs are too big...its because I haven't burned the fat I had gained on my legs, backside and stomach. I never had that problem when I had been consistant workout. In short, more likely other folks have the same issue.

Hellllllllz yeah!

I have a 31.5" waist...gets down to about 29.5" at belly button right now...but 24" thighs. Maintaining about 8% bf. Flathead F380's are working out decent for me right now, still baggy in the waist though.

I do agree with Kunk on the fact that a lot of you guys are just holding fat. Seriously, get on a diet.

and for the clowns saying 'What are big thighs good for'.........I'd rather look good out of my clothes and work my wardrobe around it, then look small out of them to 'fit' into most designer stuff. I'm veiny and pretty cut through the wheels right now though, I think you skinny guys are just picturing fat thighs with no definition.

and seriously, the majority of people who make these claims look like they just got out of concentration camps. Eat for god sakes. 5'10, 130 lbs does not look good and most women will think your a pussy.
