Personally, I like it. The size is good, color is good, and shape is good. They look comfortable on you.

Please wear them with lenses without prescription. DO not wear them without lenses. It looks terrible. It is like wearing a shirt without the back. It looks terrible and just shouldn't be done.

Maybe somebody can hellp me. Today in flee market i bought oliver peoples glasses, but i cant find in interenet any other like them? is it old, or new? On frame i can read oliver peoples and japan ,other leters is gone. Could it be fake or its rare that i cant find on net. Does anybody knows something about them?

Thank you

I don't know the model number and I don't know if they are real based on the picture BUT I would guess that they are real. I don't think OP has a big enough market share for someone to take the time to make fake ones. The clientele looking to buy OP is not interested in buying fake OP because the common person doesn't even know OP.

But like I tell everyone else, if you like the frame and you paid an amount that is comfortable for you, who cares if it is real or not. It is like wearing an off-brand jacket. If you like it and it looks good, would it make a difference if it was "branded"? Probably not.

But these are some reasons I think it is real.
-serial number on lenses
-font on temples look real
-hinges look like something that comes on a Chanel frame
Some concerns:
-from the pictures, the material doesn't look correct
-color of lenses, usually on a black frame, they have grey lenses
-it may be old but the crystals don't look consistent
I think it is most likely real. My concerns are probably just because the angle of the pictures and so on.

Thanks. They were from a thrift store so it's anyone's guess. The material doesn't feel like cheap plastic sunglasses, but it's definitely worn and showing some age. Crystals are a little off, but could just be age as you said.

They made sell good products but in all honesty, from what I know, there are no manufactures in the US. It says Made in USA on the website but that may be misleading. On the frame it says "frame USA" which means nothing.

In any case, I have never seen them and never seen them at any trade shows.

+1000. This has become the hot trend among young females in Japan. It looks absolutely ridiculous.

Not true, there were quite a few fake NDG-1s up on ebay until recently. Really obviously fake. "Sorry no case," shipping from China, visibly different shape than authentic ones.

Wow. Personally, I don't think they are worth 250Euros. I would say it is fair for under $200 USD. Anything more than that and it is quite expensive. The quality is not the best, but I guess you are paying for their heritage and brand as well. They have made a big boom in the last little while. I think that the 250 Euro mark, there are tons of other possibilities.

Moscots are bullet proof. I have a pair of Hymans (hard to say that with a straight face) that are rock solid, esp. the hinges. I'm actually going down to Moscot on 14th later today to get another pair, maybe Nebbs this time. Price: Well, they're no bargain at $225 and the prices have gone up 25% or so in the past two years. But I think they're worth it, esp. if you have some insurance coverage.
