From what I could tell, they look like they are well made. Even if they are fake, the quality is still good. If you take pics of the writing on the frame as well as hinges and end pieces, I could probably give you a better educated guess.

Do you mean the different brands of anti reflection/anti glare coatings?

Yes. Anti reflection coating is a must on any lenses. The pros outweigh the cons all the time. The only downfall to AR coating is that they seem to smudge easily and show dirt. The reality is that the lenses will get dirty regardless of coating or not. The AR coating just makes it more apparent. Definitely, get AR coating. And not all coating are created equally. They will vary from single coat to multicoat (13 coats). Obviously the more the better. The more layers the better the coating will be and last longer without crazing.

I recently bought a plastic pair of ray-ban eyeglasses, however they seem to slide off my nose a little bit after a few minutes. Are there any type of sticky pads that I could buy to remedy this?

I'm looking for a pair of rectangular glasses (acetate) that's bold with color (bright green, red, orange). Not finding a lot of people out there even at the $300 range. Theo's really the only one that I see touching this. What are some other designers around that price range who are a little avant garde? If it makes a difference, I live in NYC.

What about Tom Davies? hype or real?

Also, if I wanted to score some real tortoiseshell in the US (vintage I am guessing given the ban) who should I talk to?

The main difference is the shape, size, and the rayban logo on the side. Completely different styles. The first ones I posted aren't clubmasters.
