no, you haven't missed anything. i am sorry but things got really busy and i haven't been able to create my sports jacket thread yet. i promise i'll put it up tonight. btw i measured the Cucinelli/Bastian last night and the sizing is funky. it's tagged as a 54R (which would be 44R) but has a 19" shoulder/22" chest...which actually makes it closer to a 42R. i apologize for the mistake, don't know why i said it was 40R

i believe that diamante blu is their line of fabrics in super 150's wool. i don't think Kiton has clothing lines the same way RL has PL and BL, for example, but they do name their suiting fabrics - like diamante blu for super 150's and blanc blu for super 180's. i'm not sure if every Kiton super 150's garment is labeled diamante blu, or every diamante blu garment is made of super 150's fabric, but in my experience the two are synonymous. someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

I love belvest. It comes out with some understated and elegant pieces including this one and does go under the radar in this forum.

That kiton db is rad too no one wants to pick it up??

HRoi,
when you have time , can you get the upper thigh measurement for the kiton db suit pant from crotch across parallel to the waistband? thanks

sure thing - if i measure the pants across the crotch seam, parallel to the waistband, it measures out to 21.75" it's a fuller cut, definitely

it's just about that much, yes. the narrowest point of the jacket waist, measured straight across, is 20.25" by my measure...compared to my pit to pit measurement of 22.5"
