I enjoyed the combo of Mark Jackson and Marv Albert for Nets games on YES Network. Mark Jackson was hilarious and Marv Albert was, well, Marv Albert.

To be honest, they're pretty good for play-by-play, it's Herbstreit's analysis that I hold against him. If I weren't a Georgia fan I probably wouldn't hold the same contempt for him, but he really was a hypocrite in the UGA/LSU thing. Plus, he spent an entire quarter lobbying for LSU, and that's just ridiculous. Even if he was right, it's not his place to argue for anyone, especially during a game. I like his commentary during the games, but he should just stick to that.

He also looked like an enormous tool when he announced Les Miles was going to Michigan without confirming the information.

For commentators I like, I'm a Joe Simpson does a good job for the Braves' local coverage, particularly when it's him and Chip Caray.

I would rather listen to Vin Scully by himself than any crew of commentators. Vin has become a little unfocused in recent years (occasionally getting a few players' names mixed up, maybe a little too talkative every once in a while) but I still think he's the best in the bizness.
