Actually, I sort of like the Bloomingdales at the Bev - their selection of jeans has become exemplary, expanding to include Earl, PDC, Marc by Marc Jacobs and DDC Lab, in addition to full ranges by Lucky, Diesel, and whatever designer they happen to be carrying, ranging from D&G (crap, imo) to Versace (more crap). Yes, the James Perse stuff is quite good. I don't know if its as ubiquitous on the East Coast as it is in LA, but Maxfield has a terrific selection - not surprising since Tommy Perse, father of James, owns the store, and apparently, James spent his formative years working there. Lisa Kline is nice, but you're right, limited. Politix is sometimes a little too geared towards clubwear for my tastes, but Traffic is one of my favorite stores, although lately, I've bought a lot more of my gear at Maxfield and Maxfield Bleu. I guess that guys like us clear out all the good stock. Sorry again, Ambulance.. If you go to Maxfield tomorrow, you'll see the full Maxfield range, much of which will make an appearance at Bleu, probably in December (hopefully earlier.) I hope that you have more luck tomorrow. If you liked Lisa Kline men and the James Perse Stuff at Bloomingdales, you may enjoy American Rag and KBond quite a bit. I'll be interested in seeing how you fare.
