haircut question

Thread Starter
I've grown my hair out fairly long, and now that it's summer and school's going to end soon, I want to get a haircut. I have an oval face and I have thick eyebrows, along with ears that pin back only at the top (so I look a little like spock lol) which I don't think look particularly good together. My question is: Should I get a short haircut even though I don't think it will look as good as my longer hair? Should I sacrifice my vanity for comfort? or vice-versa?

I think you should use this important mathematical equation:

(V + pi) = VQ
(C + pi) = CQ
The greater of VQ/CQ is the direction you should go.

Where:
V = Personal Value of Vanity on a 1-10 scale
C = Personal Value of Comfort on a 1-10 scale
VQ/CQ = Vanity/Comfort Quotient

This way you could stop asking dudes online to make your decisions for you. I mean, seriously, we can tell you which hairstyle we think looks better, but there is something infinitely creepy to asking a bunch of strangers to decide whether you value style over comfort.
