Double sided bow-ties/custom made bow-ties

A good friend of mine recently started making bowties and I wanted to get your opinions on double sided bowties....I have only ever seen a few double sided bow-ties other than his and the selection was very limited.

I couldn't see the article, but from the picture you linked to, the ties have an Eric Glennie aesthetic.

I'd hesitate to buy one of those before seeing one in person. The other day I saw someone in a 'reversible' kneck tie. It wasn't terrible - but was not terribly fond of it.

It's an interesting idea but would be hard to match to things with all those diffrent colors and patterns going on at the same time.
