Since we're on the subject of leather jackets, I recently picked up an amazing Polo jacket.. much nicer than most RRL jacket I've come across. Haven't had a chance to wear it since, weather in SoFla is in the 80s all week and probably have to put it away till autumn.

Yeah I just prefer the fades. Looks supple and soft. To each their own eh.

Looks like a really nice jacket. Maybe you need to move somewhere colder...

I'll try and get some fit pics done but washings for girls. Real men wear their denim until they have to bury them in a Nevada mine.

You'll have to wash them eventually, now is def a good time. They'll look much better after a wash because all that dirt and oil will come out and the denim will last longer because oil/sweat buildup breaks down cotton faster. I've seen enough before/after photos to know they always look better after a wash especially after very long time wear like yours.

Right now they look too waxy and must feel slimy and itchy to wear on a humid morning... I can only imagine the festering smell they're omitting. Also, pretty sure even the guys in the mines washed their overalls from time to time. It's just good hygiene.

Denim care must be moderated, if you wash too often it will detract from the beauty but if you go too long without a wash it will also detract from the beauty.

Wouldn't the rigids shrink if he washed them? They do look pretty awesome although I can see the waxy look that RRLC is talking about.

Some of the sale items on the RRL website are getting into outlet prices, or rather, what I imagine outlet prices to be considering I've never actually seen any RRL at an outlet.

Yeah the sale is crazy. I'm thinking of grabbing either the plaid shawl cardigan or the reverse black cardigan with red stripes. Anyone who has owned either care to comment? I like both, but for different reasons...

God the web site is so infuriating! Anyone tried the cashmere vneck? Is it nice? How is the fit? 5-10 165lb = medium?
