Somebody's sent a mail saying I should put up more evidence. Understandable, especially if you've had a smooth transaction. Even William might admit he has plenty of money that belongs to other people and that he won't be sending out their clothes. He also says he won't refund the money, at least for six months or something. I can't detail every lie (and potential lie) he tells, but the eight people I know about who are owed money are sceptical of him. I assume the mods here can look into our PMs and have seen Will's comments to people go from "I placed your order", even "your stuff's in the post" to "your stuff's not coming and I won't give you your money back" - or won't repay at least for months or whatever. Maybe he paid for people's stuff on credit when one (!) of his PayPal accounts got locked, then collected more orders to pay for the first lot in the gamble PayPal would unlock that account and that money would cover the second batch. He's told people that two of his PayPal accounts (!) are locked, but it appears only one at the moment. Even if you take the view he mostly just ran into trouble then felt he had to lie etc, none of it exactly stacks up and it looks like he's trying to get away with stuff on top of that, but who knows what's going on exactly? The only thing to bear in mind is that he's lied too much and has a lot of money that isn't his. The bottom line is that believing him and sympathy have left us fools and without our money. And yeah, I pick some scenarios of how he potentially ended up in this predicament and still feel sympathy! That isn't the bottom line, though. No matter how confused it is or becomes in terms of sympathy or anything else, please return to the bottom line. I don't know how much each person is owed. I'm in for $290, which isn't much compared to others but is a lot to me. I don't know how much everybody is owed and won't say what I do know, but it's obvious it totals thousands. I will list people who are owed money so I look less like an isolated crackpot (it's unrealistic for me to shoulder all this and I trust nobody has a problem with it - I posted on the thread because we discussed that somebody had to):
Manfred, there'll be plenty of your sort of view, it's just whether people bother to express it. I didn't know JF's deal involved deceiving RL, I have no idea how these discounts work, but that's by the by. Every deal in the world involves deception in one way or another if you want to look at it like that but there's a difference between something like downloading an album illegally to see if you want to buy it, getting more of a discount on some clothes than you should (a discount that still isn't enought to prevent a company turning a profit on it) and stealing thousands of dollars from people. It could've gone wrong for you, so you're as much a potential fool as anybody.
