Pardon me... for assuming that a 'RRL forum' at a 'Style Forum', would be interested in 'RRL'.My bad.

they are - but as you noted there is a huge difference between the interests of a collector and the interests of someone who likes the brand but has other priorities.

No... Collectors pay collectors prices... then offer them to other collectors... plain and simple.
If one has to 'complain' about 'prices'... well... you know what they say..

"If you can't afford it......"

I am staisfied with the clients I have all over the World.... and we know there are MANY Serious RRL Collectors that know the true value of RRL.
And when one such as myself try to discuss RRL it's history, and you come to this 'style forum' and all you really find is nobody really talking about the history and why they collect... search the World for RRL Vintage. RRL Vintage are pieces put out from 1993-1998 the older RRL label... that is what I deal with. I don't deal with the new stuff, that is over produced.

So... if all one is going to find in this forum is complainers, and those always looking for RRL SALES... Markdowns... then for sure I am wasting my time in the BS forum...

Lucky my RRL Collectors don't get messed up in this **** group... no matter how much you have to 'ignore' and hope that someone has the same interest in a great line such as RRL.

Good days folks... continue, posting about your finds at Ralph Lauren Outlets... so Vogue. LOL
I am happy with being the Number 1 site for RRL Vintage.....

Just because you put "Vintage" in the title of something (which is what you do) doesn't make the item vintage or increase in value. There's also a difference between affording something and having money for something. Yes, I have $300 but I'm not going to spend it on a regular ass scarf. It's not cashmere, it's not made of baby Jesus' ringspun hair.. it's a fuckin scarf. An old ass scarf. http://cgi.ebay.com/Color-Fast-Doubl...item256360390c

I ordered an item from you before.... Was NOT vintage. SO yea, I feel bamboozled. You're the number site for RRL vintage. Who is determining that your items are vintage and who is setting the value? I don't really wanna know the answer.

I respect your interest in the line and in the vintage pieces, but let's not have a bad attitude. Of course, some people are going to be more price-conscious than others. It doesn't make them better or worse people.

I actually know one of the key members of the original RRL design team - she actually posts here occasionally, though never in this thread - and we've actually done a collaboration with her in the past. Her knowledge of vintage is encyclopedic. She also has a much better attitude than do you. Maybe you could take a cue from one of your idols.

No reason the get mad. Why did you decide the re list the overalls when someone called you out earlier in the thread by providing a link?

I enjoy finding RRL at outlets like many others here. Their are some fair sellers on here and ebay too whom have excellent attitudes. I'm sure you have turned off many potential buyers with your posts that shows your true colors.

Should I pay 600 for a pair of pants off you because they say 'vintage' or pay 80 out the outlet?

We have plenty of 'serious' members here who like RRL. Why would you make fun of everyone on here?

I'll try to take his side a little bit. The guy is obviously frustrated. Every time he posts here we're all over him about his pricing. He actually has and can provide some very useful information to us but we're so pissed off because we feel he's gouging and really can't afford his **** on ebay. He's a long time collector and is now retired and selling stuff online. What of it? That shouldn't keep us from learning something useful now and again.Except for this recent rant, he's actually a cool person. I have a hard time thinking that the sole reason he's on here is to pimp his stuff, but I'm willing to try to look past that and maybe learn something from him.
