I asked the seller to measure the "BiG" way but it appears that they measured to the opposite seam and not the opposite edge. If I had to guess, the thigh is probably more in the 12"-12.5" range

i was thinking the exact range that you said. because 11.5 just seems too narrow for a 34 waist.
