I don't even know where to begin to look for something.

RRL doesn't do a catalog.

The both also come in the stone/sand color. It's like a faded khaki, I have it in the regualtion, but i know it's available in the Officer too.

I would say subtly tapered. I would not classify them as slim, per se, but much more form-fitting than your usual billowy chino. I have a thicker athletic build (5' 10" 190), and quite simply they are the best pair of pants I have ever owned. One of the rare items worth every penny at retail (although I basically stole them for $85 at Barney's summer sale).

Has anyone seen any of the slim fit denim in size 28x32 or 27x32? any info would be much appreciated.

28x32 I have them call the store.
27 doesn't exsist in the USA

The embroidering is just too ornery, seems like it would be very difficult to pull off.

Barney's in Seattle has a few RRL items on sale right now.
They had the red linen/cotton chambray workshirt for $109 and the blue anchor shirt for $139.
Looked like they had a full size run of the red shirt out on the rack. Only a couple of the anchor shirt on the rack although they may have had more in the mystic land called "the back".

I think you mean ornate.
