That's assuming you're getting the newer stuff. I've seen smalls in the 24" ballpark. People should keep in mind that there's a lot more to a shirt than just the chest measurement. On paper, their western shirts should fit loose given that their chest is usually around 22", however, because of the cut you would have a hard time breathing in a small. It's not the grading, it's the cut.

Yeah, its the newer stuff. You bring up a good point because I have a ~10 year old chambray tagged a Large that measures 26" in the chest. Its made from a really light, thin fabric that works great in the summer with the sleeves rolled up.

I double-checked the p2p measurement and its about 26.5"

is that a pen slot? POLO by RL actually ripped this exact design off and is making shirts like this now.
