Soak for 20 then wear as long as you can. Hotter water = more permanent effects than cold

They were a bit snug in the waist and hips compared to my other RRL slim fit 32s (also about 1/2" shorter in front and back rises). I decided to order the 33s. The 33s were big, so they went back. The 33s had a 5 button fly closure compared to the 4 button closure on the 32s. I bet that's the main reason why they cut bigger. Also, the Fairviews are slightly heavier in weight than what I'm used to wearing. Will they stretch? Any suggestions on how I can stretch the waist and hips a little bit?

One thing I noticed is that there can be something like a 1/2 inch variation for certain measurements among the same size of a particular model. If you got the tags still attached, one thing I'd consider is ordering two more pairs in the same size. Of the three, you'll likely find one with the fit you want. Happened to me - it was like the Three Little Bears. One pair the waist was too big. Another, felt more snug. The third was just right. I do think it's odd with the variation in the number of buttons. I've only seen this difference between the slim fits and the slim straights (with the slim straights having a higher rise, the reason for the extra button).

I actually ordered a pair of 32s, which was my first order. They were super tight and total ball crushers, then the 33s (second order), then another pair of 32s (third order). At this point I'm a little apprehensive about ordering more 32s.

Fair enough. Or you could order another pair of 33s, which may be smaller. devil.gif

FYI, the tags are still attached.

Now you are making things way more complicated, LOL! I doubt the 33s would be smaller since they have the 5 button closure and higher rise. I think I'm gonna try to stretch them out.

I'd also be interested in seeing some real fit pics if possible. Looks like I would pay full retail going from the online photos

I ended up ordering another pair of 32s. They did an early exchange credit, so no harm, no foul. Fingers crossed that these fit better. Worse case scenario, I'll keep the current pair and stretch them out.

I really like these, but don't need a light wash. My slim fit Bayfields satisfy my light wash needs. If the Billings go on a deep sale, I may pull the trigger anyways.

Good luck! Hope they work out better for you. I was half serious about ordering another 33 as well. I'm no rrl expert, but I'm wondering if the extra button on the 33s you got is an anomaly. I get that as you move up in size, the measurements increase, but a 32 to 33 isn't that drastic. I wonder if that's other folks experience in slim fits. I've ordered a 32 and 33 in a different wash before, same number of buttons...

If anyone is curious about the destroyed cords, here's some (crappy) pics. They are comfy and basically look exactly like they do on the website. They're beautiful, I'd put them up there with what Kapital is doing, for sure. I really want to keep them, just debating on if it's smart to pay so much for destroyed pants!

Thanks for sharing these! Been considering them—but will probably wait for them to go on sale.

Those are awesome. If they made a 31x30 would have been my first purchase of the collection.
