Currently my go-to denims are the Low Straights in Onced Wash.

Looking to pick up a new pair.

Debating between the Slim Fits Once Washed

or

Slim Straights Raws which are the new cone denim and a new cut. Has anybody seen/tried them on? Curious on the rise.

For those that own both the Low Straights and Slim Fits, is the rise similar? The Straights Legs kill me with the higher rise.
Wow, didn't even catch these new ones. Looks interesting, especially the higher weight and the back pocket stitching that resembles the old low straight.

As for your question about the rise on low straights vs slim - the slim fit is a slightly lower rise.

Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I've noticed that on some RRL jeans, the print inside the pocket is slightly altered. In this pair the "Japanese" on my once-washed slim fits has been replaced with "shuttle woven." Does that mean the denim isn't from Japan?

tried on that heavy green cardigan with 2 indian heads, great piece but i found the fit around the arms to be very constrictive.

Probably. What kind of jeans are they, is it a seasonal wash or part of the Core collection?

It says "made in the United States of America"
Do the Japanese ones still say that?

Some recent purchases from me. Couldn't find anywhere good to take pictures in the new flat apart from with me sitting on the floor and I've only just noticed I'm showing a wee bit of leg occasionally.:embar:

Western Shirt, the pockets seem a little different on this one compared to the others I have.

Selvedge chambray workshirt. Picked this up in Liberty and according to the guys in RRL it's actually about a year old. The detail is incredible but not sure if it comes through in the pics. Might take it back as I'm not sold on the fit. Will prob put a fit pic up later to get feedback as it seems huge in the shoulders.

Repaired western chambray. Probably not to everyone's taste but I thought this one was really well done. I really like some of the embroidery on it. The change in colour doesn't seem as drastic in real life.

Grey herringbone trousers. These things are ridiculously thick, lined to about the knee as well. Got them hemmed and put a chunky cuff on them.

FInally, a couple of suits. Does nobody else here pick up any of the suits? The first one is a glen plaid with a wee bit of red running through it. It's really thick and warm. Again, I cuffed the trousers.

And finally, a tweed suit. Didn't cuff the trousers on this one, got them hemmed to sit just on top of the shoe. Love the fabric on the back of the vest.

Slim Straights are back?

They made them about 5 years ago as a womens cut, I still have 2 or 3 pairs laying around somewhere. Obviously these new ones probably have a much higher rise and looser seat/thigh.

Personally speaking I think the Bowery boots with the brogue cap toe are one of the best looking boots around.. Iv probably looked at RRL CLOTHINGS eBay store a 1000 times just for those. Unfortunately my wife would divorce me if I was to ever pull the trigger on a pair.

Iv been toying with grabbing the Viberg service boots for a lil while. What are the construction like for RRL boots? I ask because iv bought yves st laurant and Dolce Gabanna shoes which had a great look but made like a pair of Aldo shoes.
