Nice Ralph! That's a killer wash! I am really digging the limited edition denim jacket with the chain-stitched logo on the back. 690 bucks though.

It's still winter here in Philly, but I pulled the trigger on these camo cargo shorts...

I am a sucker for anything camo!

"Still winter" is kind of relative...on the one hand, I distinctly recall freezing my ass off standing in line outside Union Transfer last night; on the other hand it's supposed to hit 60 tomorrow.

If RRL were to close its doors which brand would you turn to next? With 90% of my wardrobe being RRL I have always wondered where my next obsession would come from and I would be interested to hear other peoples options.

Iv already begun to shift elsewhere.   Most of what i like from RRL can be found from brands like Blue Blue Japan but to me done a bit better @Synthese .  That doesnt mean I won't buy anything from RRL because i will but im done buying everything and anything RRL simply because.  I mean their best pieces are priced a bit high in comparison to other brands and I simply value so much more now

This looks to be the "exact" sport coat I'm looking for..unconstucted, navy, and herringbone... http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/index.jsp?productId=85545436&sProdEvar=Recently%20Viewed

anyone see this inshore and have any reviews?

Good question. I wear 32x32 in low straight and slim fits. And a mix of 32 and 33s in shorts in other brands. The SA recommend going with my true waist size since the fabric will not stretch out like the denim does, so I went with 33 in these shorts. They will be delivered on Tuesday. I'll let you know how they fit...

Hmmm... Suede pants... Really shouldn't. They're cool though.

They are only 6 RRL stores (4 in NY and 2 in CA) and a bunch of RL stores that carry RRL. I was really surprised when RL recently opened the RRL store in Brookyn. If people aren't spending, etc., then why did they open a new store? Full disclosure: what do I know??? I just hope they never give rid of RRL.

Youre forgetting Hong Kong, Tokyo, Paris, London. Opening one in Brooklyn with cheaper rent makes more sense than having three stores in Lower manhattan.

I started losing interest when the website went up. Part of RRL's allure was having to hunt it down and making an effort to find the right things. Making it so widely accessible and having all these sales and shit all the time really cheapened the experience for me.

They also had some more varied output like Key West, etc and now it seems pretty homogenized. There's a very limited amount of Gangster Mumford clothing I'd need and a plaid shirt is a plaid shirt....

There isn't a single brand I've moved to but it was fun while it lasted I guess. I find myself searching for more unique things again.

That's an interesting question. I estimate RRL comprises near 80% of my wardrobe. No other heritage-style brand has an equal range of offerings so I would probably spread my purchases across a number of other brands I like:

Shirts: Gitman Vintage, Rogue Territory, Engineered Garments, LVC, Iron Heart, Wolf vs Goat

Outerwear: Real McCoy's, Engineered Garments, Tenderloin, Rising Sun, LVC

Denim: The Flat Head, Strike Gold, Sugar Cane

Trousers: Rogue Territory, Mister Freedom, Left Field

Shoes: Viberg, Red Wing, Doc Martens
