Wore my rigid brown canvas clydes from this F/W for a few days straight when I had to travel for meetings. It's really nice to have something that feels as sturdy and rugged as raw denim but is suitable for biz-caz purposes, especially when it's all cold and gross out. Love the metal buttons. I always feel like I'm going to pop (or possibly even break) a button on my rigid officer chinos with corozo buttons (or whatever they are), even if they look nice.

Also, thanks for the input on sizing (went with a 30, which stretched nicely with wear) and removing the buckle-back (came out easily with a seam ripper and a little patience).

Extra 40% off sale at Stag Provisions with code 40EXTRA

http://stagprovisions.com/collections/rrl?view=all

Decent size range still available. Slim-fit Henderson wash five cents off (!) so the coupon works. Silly.

Someone who wears small MUST get the Orr ombré shirt.

"We don't ship outside of North America." It's disappointing that there are still retailers who don't ship globally.

The '47 501's might be a good choice in the LVC, but I'm not sure exactly on the that.

So I tried on the 31's in low straight once washed at the store and thought they looked/felt great, almost perfect for me. but ended up buying the 30's for fear of them getting too loose after awhile. After wearing the 30s a bit at home, they are really snug, and don't seem to fit/look as good as the 31's. I'm wondering if they'll really grow to fit like the 31s did, especially in the legs area. Or will they just grow in the waist?

How much will the 31s grow if I stick with them, is the stretching that noticeable?

Thanks again.

Other than the waist I doubt they'll stretch much. You'll probably get a little stretch in the seat and knees, but not much in the legs.

Cool, thanks. yea I'm thinking I'll just stick with the 31's. Which is the size I usually go with.

I picked up the Clyde Jaspe trousers in anchorage Olive last week.  They are a 36 and I probably could use a large 34 or a 35.  Question on washing the pants.  Will they shrink any/much?  I figured I would try cold hand wash first, then try hot wash and dryer if needed but wanted to see if anyone had any experience in washing this material.

thanks for any experience/thoughts on the subject.
