That's not how that works.
It's just a run of the mill f up. You return it and get a refund. You don't get to keep it.

I recently purchased the Clyde Cotton Twill Trouser in carhartt brown from the Mansion in NYC, right before Christmas. I didn't even know about them, and just happened to be in the area and it had been a while since visiting the store, so I checked it out and found them, which I'm happy about. They were already on sale, but not as low as they went after Christmas. Oh well. This was my first RRL purchase.

I usually wear 31 in all of the denim I've bought from Blue in Green, and I'm about a 32 actual waist so I bought these in 31. I probably could have tried them in 30 and they may have worked since they have a just a little bit of room in he waist, but I'm hoping that after washing them they will shrink slightly in the waist. it wasn't too easy to judge since I couldn't get the top button done in the store, so I had to hold them shut! They seemed close enough. Once purchased, I used the buckle-back to slightly tighten them (first pants with these).

Strangely, I usually wear a 34 length, and these seem to be about what I would expect from a pair of pants in 34 inseam, but they are 32 inseam. I asked if they are sanforized, and the SA said yes, and that they shouldn't really shrink. He suggested treating them like jeans: wash cold, hang dry.

If you have these, have you washed them yet? Did they shrink at all? I'm very happy with the length and if there is any noticeable shrinking in the length, I'll be bummed. I plan on stretching them lengthwise while wet before drying. Also, did they soften up a lot after washing or stay fairly rigid?

I love the cut of these, and the fabric is amazing. I wish my less-expensive J.Crew chinos were in the same cut. Maybe I'll buy more chinos from RRL in the future (on sale next time) if the sizing is somewhat consistent.

I got a 30x30 in the Clydes, the inseam measured 33 inches when I got them, so I gave them a hot wash, and there wasn't any noticeable shinkage. I got them hemmed and have washed them several times and nothing is changed, so I think you'll be fine. I've had them for about 8 months now, with lots of regular wear and they soften up quite a bit.

Don't be surprised. If there's a mistake in the pictures or description of an RRL item, it almost never gets fixed. Some sort of bureaucratic inertia or institutional disconnect.

Lot of talk about the clyde twill trousers, but forgot to mention in my earlier comments that I also ordered the clyde jaspe trouser - liking them as well quite a bit; definitely recommended.

Also, glad to hear the clyde twill don't shrink!

I second that! Received the Clyde Jaspe Trousers last week and have received more compliments about them than any other RRL item I own. The fabric, color, weight, and color is incredible.

Also, saw some the new Spring Jaspe pants in person a few days ago and they're equally as great. Along with that, I saw a bunch of new spring items that haven't made it to the site and there are some killer things that they haven't released yet. Lots of great colors this Spring!

Like the fabric, buttons are really cheap feeling. Pretty good fit for me. Probably a keep.

What size did you get and what was the pit-to-pit? I usually go with an L for the workshirts but I've seem them run with a 22" pit-to-pit before instead of the usual 23-24...

Anyone got the Buffalo double-faced western?

Positive. I even called the RRL store in NYC and had them pull the wallet they had in store and the guy I spoke to confirmed the wallet was not made of smooth leather, as depicted online, but textured. I guess it's possible they started out with a smooth version, changed to the textured, and never updated their photos..

21.5" for my medium. The couple of times I've tried RRL large button downs, they've been way too large for me.

I unfortunately haven't been able to find any rhyme or reason to the sizing - doesn't seem to run by season or shirt type, just totally random for me. In fact, I'm not even sure if it's model specific, or if there's a lot of variability piece to piece even for the same shirt, and it's just luck of the draw what you get.

Back pocket detail and whiskering on my olive rigid Chinos from about a year and a half ago. Since buying I've washed and dried twice, had the diaper butt taken in as well as a taper below the knee. They loosen up in between wears then get a rigid feel and shrink back down after the wash and dry

It's size small. I can post sizing info if you guys have questions?

Any chance you could post measurements? I'm thinking about picking this up in a S as well.

Thanks.

Just a side note - you can let out the length a little, although you may see the remnants of the crease and possibly some wear at the point where the original hem hit.

^And here I was thinking they were doing way better with their web inventory this year.

Nice to see it worked out for you in the end

Bought this a year ago with it almost instantly developing these holes. They are obviously much worse after i washed. Its the D&S version but still pricey when i bought it. Did anyone else experience this with any of the prior and current RRL renditions?
