Quick sizing question on the Slim-Fit Rigid Jean: My measured waist is 33" and my typical size in jeans is 30". What size should I get?

http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11750062&cp=11588650.12138266&ab=ln_men_cs_denim&parentPage=family

Apologies if this has been answered here before. I simply have no time to back read 25,000 posts.

TIA

I did, and I have 7 items being shipped to me. And now my bank account is looking pitiful.

I need to stop visiting this place.

Some of my other unwashed rigid chinos are soft enough that most non-RRL folks wouldn't even know what I was talking about if I told them that were rigid models at this point. The next adventure will to wash some of the older ones at this point and see how they come out. I think I'll try the the washer and just hang dry.

Hang dry is the way to go.

I have the shirt and it doesn't look especially red to me either - I'd call it more of a light coral or terra cotta, with a hint of red, maybe.

I admire your restraint! What'd you settle on? I went for the Cowichan with the steer skull on the back (again- a previous attempt at medium was oddly skin-tight so I gambled on a large) and the indigo baseball jacket that dropped into dumb-not-to territory.

That's my waist. My Slim Straights are 31, but I probably could have gotten a 30 if I wanted to really struggle in the first few months to break them in.

My measured waist is 33" as well and I buy all my RRL jeans in size 30. I like them to be a bit tight in the waist because they will inevitably sag.

For someone like me who suffers from DAS (Disappearing Ass Syndrome) too loose of a waist can be disastrous.

Who needs money when you've got a closet full of faux worker/cowboy clothing! ;)

Tried them on at the store when they first came out, the fabric is lighter/softer than I thought they would be, but then again, I've been wearing nothing but rigid jeans, chinos, and cargos lately so my perception may be a bit skewed.

The pants fit more like a dress pant would fit... not what I was looking for. at the time ..but the "flecked finish" is very in-style right now and they are a great pant none-the-less....
