The slim fit leg opening ~15" which is ideal for me. I also like the low straights for a little more relaxed fit (leg opening ~16").

I have chicken legs, so the slim narrows may work. I'll have to try 'em out one of these days.

received the Rummel cords last week and have been wearing them nonstop. nice and soft to the touch and the corduroy is like corduroy that ate lesser cords for breakfast. nice thick wale. also been rocking some new workshirts. the cotton linen plaids are light weight and I'm really digging the weathered look of them. the goldfield cotton workshirt has a good heft to it. had to order the Clyde jaspés in that brown olive anchorage color. anyone been wearing these?

Does anyone have the Marshall jacket from last year? This one in particular is new with tags and the seller says that the discolouring on the chest is intentional but can anyone else confirm this? I missed out on this piece but I don't remember seeing the different shades of khaki like the one above.

Errr no. I didn't remember any discoloration. I bought it and returned it because the triangles on the piece was not aligned.

^ No discoloration here.

Yep, I didn't think so. Think I'll be giving that one a miss unfortunately.

I may be wrong, but I don't think this is a RRL jacket..

Does anyone have any experience with and/or thoughts about the RRL suits regarding fit, quality, and what would be considered a good price to buy one for?

Thanks!

Thanks! No, I missed the gambler boat. This one came out this past summer, and unless I am mistaken, it was called the Griggs jacket?

I own two full RRL suits and a couple of RRL blazers.  Construction is very good but not top notch like RL's Purple Label line, and of course comes nowhere close to bespoke in terms of detail.  They tend to have a lot of repro details, so wider lapels, watch fob holes, etc.

Biggest thing is sizing.  I've found RRL suits tend to run small and I always have to size up at least one.

Price wise, they're good options on sale but if you're going to pay full price, go for higher quality/more contemporary unless you absolutely want to have the repro details.
