Man, denim vault gets some nice stuff, but his prices are about 30% higher than anyone else. frown.gif

These look great!! Did you order your actual size or size down expecting that they'll stretch? I've never worn RRL denim and I've read that they can stretch considerably. Thanks!

This RRL jacket was Spring 2012. Or maybe Fall 2011?

I've been looking for it in a size Medium - anyone here interested in selling it? The photo is from a current eBay auction for a size XL.

Thanks man much appreciated. It took much experimenting to dial in all my RRL sizes and I still occasionally miss on things like one off limited edition pieces or the leather jackets.

That said, I take my typically size for slim fit. These jeans are washed and pre distressed so the stretch is not as much as a raw denim would be. I will admit that I have way to many clothes so I will wear these maybe 1 time a month.

Thank you sir! Super bummed I missed the 40% off, would've snapped these up quickly (though I did pick up the Patterson indigo shirt). May grab these anyway, they look outstanding!

I've just bought my first pair of RRL (distressed rather than raw - Japanese selvedge), sized down 2" and they're still slightly roomy in the waist - lovely soft but tough feeling denim though. I don't know whether all cuts are the same waist wise (I'm new to RRL), these are a slim bootcut in brown. Oddly I think they're pretty much the same actual waist size as a pair of Studio D'Artisan's I've just picked up that are tagged 4" larger...

Yeah see this is the sort of thing I've heard. How long did it take your denim to stretch out?

They were slightly large from new - stretch hasn't been an issue so far, but then I've worn them with a belt.

Most RRL bottoms require downsizing but the select few that are TTS keeps us on our toes.  I find their shirts will have the same when it comes to sleeve length and the PTP.  Some XL's will come in at a 25 PTP while others a smidge over 23.

Are there any RRL fans in the Uk that may be willing to proxy to some RRL items for someone who is in the states or know a reliable site. Lately it seems like all the 33 x 34 are being sent overseas. I tried to get a pair of slim narrow in the charcoal wash, and the recently released slim narrow in the slub black with no success. My sales associate couldn't find neither of them in my size. I just checked the UK site and they seemed to be well stocked in that size. im willing to pay a premium. 32 is too tight in thighs and 34 is too big in the waist.

So when you say you downsized, did you look at the measurements and then buy 2in down from your normal size? Or do you mean that the purchase size just corresponds to what is normally 2in larger? Sorry for my confusion!

Looks good. Combo of tan shoes and jacket sleeves is subtle and looks good. Nice.thumbs-up.gif

Kbrenns, I know you're not asking me, but I just got the poplin cargo pants from the site in size 30. They're vanity sized, because they fit like a size 32--the waist is 16 inches across. It's what I was counting on because I'm between a true 31 and 32. I think Levi's M&C is generally the same way (for pants not denim, which varies by cut). I have a pair of chinos that are 30 and fit like 32.
