Its normal and has nothing to do with your "size." No jeans can last more than 3 years without blowouts or in need of repairs if worn often. Did you expect them to last forever?

 

Usually this occurs from sagging the jeans and friction that occurs in that area.If you're not constantly repairing your jeans, you're not wearing them right!

LOL, well i do wear jeans every single day. i have a casual work environment.  Gives me a good reason to get a few more low-straights!

Just received these today.  The fit on the low straights is spot on with the waist on a tagged 36 measuring 36 exactly (fabric seams a bit on the ehh side) & the cardi (XL) fitting nicely as well but on the shorter side like some of the other cardigans I own of RL
