And £1,515 for a cotton shawl-collar cardigan!

If anyone interested that sweater looks like something Robert in Chicago described to me over phone. It was a new item in the store.....said he thought it was the nicest current piece they had and a must for the collector. He did say it was expensive though.

My dad wears the chinos a lot and has them in 3 or 4 colors. He loves the standard issue, not the regulation chinos.

God my memory sucks. I thought standard and regulation were the same? Or is it officer > regulation > standard from slim to loose?

Asked earlier, but does anyone know what collection the white Guernsey shawl collar cardigan belongs to? Only knew to search Lawrence and Merchant Marine on the website and it wasn't part of either.

I wonder what pieces he bought his dad for Father's Day...?

I got him the distressed leather peacoat. It is actually from me and my sister. It should get to him in time, I hope.

Nothing says "Happy Fathers Day" like some "crap" from RRL.

such as

Slim fit rigid

Hello, hoping you guys can help me.
I bought these RRL jeans ages ago but sized up instead of down because I'm an idiot.
I want to put them on eBay but I hoped someone on here could confirm they are genuine, I'm 99% sure they are but the thngs I'm not sure about are; They're a 42 waist which I wasn't sure RRL did, and they're not selvage (although I do think I've seen other non-selvage jeans on this thread before).

Thanks in advance for any info.

Those are super old, the wash sucks and they're huge. You'll be lucky to get $20 for them. Not really worth the trouble of selling on ebay after fees, shipping, etc.

I looked at the last 30 pages, didn't see what I was looking for.

Would you wear the RRL officer chino as Business Casual (on Fridays, and without the 'roll up')? Is it a tough/ hard wearing product?

Also, what is a 'typically' a good price for RRL officer Chinos? For example, if asked this question on certain jean brands I would say, wait for the MrPorter annual sale, when prices are around 30%-50% off. Or, if you're in a hurry, go to retailer X where you may find it as Y% off.

Finally as far as I can see on their site, there's a chino pant that's called a "reproduction of the British 1940s military officer model", and something called the 'Regulation chino'. Both are at $185. Are these the two RRL chino products out there?

Thanks in advance, gentlemen.

MAN. For some reason I just HAD to read all the posts I missed, can I have my time back? ****.

So Teger, what was this "nice code" that you speak of?
What is the leg opening?

Also, what is a 'typically' a good price for RRL officer Chinos?

for what it's worth, I snagged my brand new pair for $180 shipped.

At the moment these are the only 2 core chino styles available. The Officers is slightly slimmer than the Regulation. I have been told they will bring out a Slim Chino for Fall.

I'd say yes. They're an 8.4oz military grade japanese fabric.

Core chino colours hardly ever go on sale but i have seen the seasonal garment dye colours on sale.
