Its been a while since I have posted anything here. A friend of mine took a photo of me today and I happened to be wearing my RRL denim western shirt and RRL worker cap.

For those still looking for a pair of denim that is Japanese, I just received a pair of the straight leg repaired an they are Japanese denim not cone.

yeah the website seems to randomly send out japanese denim still .. the pair of slim rigids i got 2 weeks ago and had to return were japenese, then they sent me straight leg instead of low straight those were cone, when i go home today i hope to find a pair of japanese low straights ;) .. at least through all this i got free overnight shipping  and about 45$ off the jeans

edit : yay ;) was happy to see the low straights that came in the mail today are Japanese denim .. and after feeling both these and the Cones have to say I like these better, tho they both are nice .. finally the ordeal of just obtaining the jeans is done lol I can finally just enjoy them lol ill post some fit pix let me kno wat u guys think, i think the cut/fit is awesome

anybody have issues with their antique indian head coin buttons falling off? it looks as if the thin backing is corroded or rusted and its just weak to begin with. two buttons have fallen/broken off on two separate jackets -___-

I'm always getting buttons falling off my RRL stuff. Very annoying - it happens to shirts, chinos, jeans, shorts - basically anything with buttons.

I had two break on my black gambler. I just bought some replacements on ebay. You can get like 10 of them for about 15 bucks. Easy to replace on the jacket, just undo the leather ties

i think buttons falling off is part of the charm, go see the town cobbler or your wife the seamstress

especially for jeans, if unfortunately your button POPS off .. when you get it replaced, put a small round piece of reinforcing leather (or ask your tailor/seamstress) (like this http://i59.tinypic.com/245a74k.jpg) .. doesnt have to be leather, could be cork, heavy canvas, etc .. really helps reinforce the button
