I ask because this is the third pic I've seen, all worn well on an African American gentlemen. I also can't help but compare the fist on the right chest to that of the "black power fist", raised by Tommie Smith and John Carlos at the '68 Olympics

I'm not sure if 3 African American gentleman wearing the jacket makes it popular amongst the African American community, its just a cool jacket, you should google the fist of fleet to find out the history behind the patch and those those donned it during World War 2…  It has nothing at all to do with black power, or the olympics, enjoy your Sunday.

Cool. I'll be going through Williamsburg on the way down. I'll check it out.

Was thinking about buying these actually earlier today.

But the insole measurement is about an inch shorter than the other size 8 RL boots I have...which is odd.

I doubt they will fit me either, just wanted to let people know.

I got the measurement of the actual sole and I think they may work so I bought them.

Hoping the sole isn't too bad to wear. Would like to avoid getting them re-soled in the near future if they fit.

I picked up this on ebay today. I dont wear ties very often but this one will be nice when I need one.

Im also waiting on a few other RRL gems like the Dauntless jacket which should get here tomorrow, a distressed leather belt, and an anchor sweatshirt that should also arrive this week.

I also got these thermals from a member of the forums

As well as a few Polo Ralph Lauren sweaters.

Its a bit of a busy week.

It is all in-house and with a dedicated team. They work 6-10 months ahead of time and are a mix of really cool creative and stylish men and women. The ones I worked with on an installation were fairly young and did a beautiful job. Very impressive.
