I have the jodhpurs you originally posted, and think the ones you got are much better. The ones I have are way too flashy to wear, realistically.

That brown coat looks great too, by the way.

I just don't get it. Why even bother? Who is spending their time making these? Is this just some idiot with a sewing machine who owns some real RRL pieces taking the labels out and sewing them into shit they find at thrift stores? If RRL produced a stuff this ugly I doubt there would be a 1200 page thread dedicated to how much we all love it.

Any clue how old this RRL shirt is? When did they switch to the black label in their shirts?

She's also selling two industrial carpet/floor cleaners. I'm going to take a guess and say she's an immigrant to this country with a connection to cheap knockoffs from home. I've encountered my fair share of bootleggers. This will probably become more common as RRL becomes more mainstream unfortunately.

Picked up a few shirts for about $50 each and a gorgeous pair of boots like these but RRL branded in a burnished calf for about $400

This is a super random reply to a question that was asked a while back. Im pretty sure those are Klaxon Howl "Cali Slim Fit" jeans. They are a Toronto based heritage brand and I was speaking with the owner and he said Drake came in and bought a bunch of stuff the one day and including 3 pairs of those jeans.

Speaking of Drake, and this has absolutely nothing to do with RRL at all, but I photographed him for the cover of Billboard Magazine a few month ago. Really cool guy. He even let me wear every single chain.

Does anyone know when this sweater came out and what the retail value was on it?

Also if anyone happens to know where I could get one in a medium that would be cool too.

Nice haul. I've been eyeing that vest but keep putting it off for some reason. Out of interest, how do you plan on wearing it? I've got the trousers int he same fabric and I'd recommend them to anyone at sale prices. Really soft and lined beyond the knee, really like the higher rise on them as well.

lol ... havent visited this thread in a while and come back to find so much haterade shog[1].gif

anyway, just received:

and the RRL - Leather Coin Pouch

I think I'll probably end up grabbing both of these too, definitely the first one even though its basically a cross between two previous RRL shirts that I already have.

Looks like they've gone all in on the indigo based stuff this season after doing the polka dot workshirt in FW12 and the star shirt in SS13. Was in the London shop at teh weekend and although Empire collection isn't out on the shop floor the guys pulled a few pieces out for me including both these shirts which are really nice. There's a really cool vest with what I think is a wabash print as well. Ended up picking up the Allan work jacket.

Yeah, seen that picture last night. Can't wait to break it in, should look even better in 6 months time. The guy on the left has the star iron shirt from last spring, which looks really good there. I've got the polka dot one from the season before but the fit on the star one was just off for me.

Anyone know how thick/warm the plaited shawl collar cardigan is? I was thinking about picking one up if it was fairly substantial.
