Anyone have one of these shawl collar mackinaw style jackets in medium they want to sell me? I saw a couple on ebay but the prices seem to jump even though the same seller has a few listed. Let me know if you have one you want to sell me.

Just wading into the whole Military Patch discussion.

Eastman Leathers is one of the best reproducers of insignia in my eyes.

usually not a fan of patches but this one "makes" the jacket atypical in a good way

Need a good Trad rant about military insignia too.

Does that guy just like to be a dick and berate people?

Its fashion.. Not to be taken so seriously. Military themed is no different than nautical, western, varsity or workwear themed. Patches definitely makes things more interesting.

If someone wears rigid bucklebacks or stifel coat is that guy going to harass them on the streets because his grandaddy worked the mines or built railroads and RL is just taking the piss and cashing in on fashion trends? Or that guys who buy this stuff try too hard or lack style and creativity? Ridiculous. Military shouldnt be "off limits".

Well at least this thread got past the whole made in China thing.

This is a Ghost Army patch I got made not too long ago. You can read more about the Ghost Army here if you are interested in that type of thing at all http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_Army

Who are you and why are you addressing me? I only hate the haters who come here to bitch and moan about everything RL does.. Dont like RRL or find it tacky, find another brand to wear..simple really. Now please get back to discussing how to stack coupon codes.

Agreed. I think Potempkin made it himself with what I'm assuming was a vintage piece and getting that patch made.

I wish sellers would drop some on the Santa Fe stuff or at least allow bids...couple of Indian blanket type shirts I've been seeing up there for a while now and nobody seems to be wiggling
