if you need i can measure the medium tonight.

If you don't mind and it's not a hassle to measure, I would appreciate the help.

I'm leaning on buying a small now. Usually the sleeve is too long anyways and I don't mind a trimmer fit. Though are varsity style jackets meant to be work more fitted or relaxed as a general question?

Depends if it's a stand alone piece or if you're going to wear it over hoodies/sweaters etc. I'd say.

after ridiculous stretching and then shrinkage after wash in the top block my nuts are all up in my grill and are now ridiculously lowrised and the inseam length is much shorter frown.gif

are the fits of the different cardigans uniform? The chest measurment is the most important factor for me.

Sizing has gotten so erratic in my experience that I'm about to just give up on them altogether. I've lost a lot of interest since they went to the masses online, anyways.

interesting, thank you. i tried on the plaited shawl in a med and i was shocked at how well it fit

@randomkoreandude

Left Field makes them http://leftfieldnyc.com/products/cone-white-oak-brown-selvedge-miner-chino but it's a bit baggy cut. I like idea of Left Field but have like 5 pairs sitting in my closet waiting to get tapered

Samurai one? http://blueingreensoho.com/site/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=11901&category_id=112&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=62 Bit more but looks pretty solid

Also had seams bust on new herringbone ones, not sure if defect or I'm just too fat. It's a size up from my selvedge ones and I wore them maybe 3x? Any chance RRL would replace / repair?

left fields look like a decent alternative but not selvedge? frown.gif

samaurai are too exp

im still rocking my rrl's since the blake x rrl contest and have resisted buying new ones but these are just painful to wear around the junk. might just buy the new ones but htey dont make 28 in 34 length anymore and are hard to find and they reduced the oz. weight

they might replace. you seem to be a regular or have a go to sales associate that can verify you purchased them recently right? worst case maybe dastig can hook you up, but id imagine they can look up your purchase date and replace em for you

RL customer service has been pretty good to me at least for where cordovan shoes hav ecome into play. never really had to replace a defective damaged RRL item though

Always buy RRL cardigans a size down. I wear medium in RRL cardigans when I am generally a large in their other stuff.

What size are you normally?

What did you think of the cardigan? Quality? Fit?

Debating the cream/black, but haven't bought any RRL in forever.
