Hey I am normally in between a S and M in RRL Outerwear. I actually have this jacket in both a small and a medium (don't ask why!). i wear the small with just a t-shirt under a larger jkt and the medium when I wear over something more substantial.

I haven't actually washed either of them yet so cant comment on the shrinkage. They are both still really stiff though after a number of months wear but then again i am rotating them.

In my opinion the Medium's a better long term fit.

As far as I know RRL denim is always sanforized, so there shouldn't be much shrinkage.

Here are the measurements for the jacket in XS and S:

  • SIZE

    ■サイズについて

    表記 XS S
    肩幅 43.0cm 46.0cm
    着丈 58.0cm 58.5cm
    身幅 47.0cm 52.0cm
    袖丈 60.0cm 62.5cm

How long has it taken y'all to break in a pair of Slim Fit Rigids?

I've put at least 35 wears in on a pair of the new American Cone ones and I cannot get the area from pockets to groin to stretch out at all.  Can barely put my keys in my pockets, let alone pull them out.  I didn't even size down.  Went with a 29 which is what I wear in almost everything.

Thoughts/comments?  Should I give them a soak?

thanks yeah i just settled with the small. XS NEVER comes out and if it does, its snatched in a nano-second. been waiting like 3 years for an xs and its just never available. small isnt that much different in size according to thsoe measurements so i think i'll be good.

thanks guys

With temps in the teens in north Texas and six inches of solid ice everywhere I got to use my coldest weather RRL over the weekend. Even the expedition parka while running the Razr thru the neighborhood on Saturday...stylish goodtimes.

Does anybody have either of these two items collecting dust in their closet in a size Large and willing to sell?
