Does anyone know of any other companies that produce this style varsity jacket with non-snap buttons? I know golden bear does some for Unionmade but those are just as pricy as RRL.

Would someone please tell me who makes that second varsity jacket and where I can get one? The Japanese website Motostyle doesn't have that one. Thank you.

The second one is Golden Bear for the Unionmade store. I believe that style is released seasonally.

So who did you have to blow to get into the recent SH sale? What's up with the exclusivity this time around?

^ Sure is a lot of pockets for such a compact vest.

I picked up that red vest from the Honolulu store at end of season sale after Labor Day a couple years ago.
It was something like 60% off plus another kicker discount. I remember they had piles of them left.

It's cool but the fishing vest vibe is strong.

It was different from the overstock sale they do twice a year. This was the annual sample sale for employees and friends and family who had passes from employees. The overstock sale is coming up in Dec I believe

Hey guys. Just got my first pair of slims.

Love the wash and fit on these. However, the seem seems to be very far in when I lay these flat. Worse on the right side (left side in the photo)

Is this normal? I'm probably just being paranoid but I wanted to double check

Yes that's normal for heavily washed jeans

It's skewing that occurs after washing the denim. Modern jeans usually compensate for this by changing the angle of the weave during manufacture to keep the seam straight while vintage styles usually keep the "defect".

It's called a ''twisted inseam.'' Usually it happens after you wash unsanforized denim.

In this case, I think it's crease from not being folded properly they were packed and shipped.
