This is awesome! Had been wondering about the meaning behind it for a while.

How tall are you if you don't mind me asking. XL or XXL in a varsity sounds huuuge. I'm 6ft 3 and was looking at picking up the Large and with enough room to wear a sweatshirt or hoody underneath.

Speaking of which, any recommended forum members to help me out with the 45% Ralph Lauren sale ? I'm in the UK.

That is a very cool link. I was just lucky enough to get one on sale today!

The Waverly Chambray and Irving Selvedge shirt were also solid.

Another +1 on the Irving. Great value on sale; it might be worth full price, but $295 is a lot for a shirt.

I almost didn't try it on, because I assumed it would have the same fit as the Star Iron, which is too slim for me. But this shirt fits great.

Anyone know if they have changed their shirt fit, or is this intended to be different than the Star Iron and the other slim shirts from that season?

(on a side note: I noticed J Crew has their Star Iron wannabes out this season...)

I saw them Saturday, but turned it down due to $12 shipping and the fact they have no other RRL on the site. 1 bum piece just wasn't worth the hassle.

$40 + $12 + tax it just isn't worth it on pants that would realistically fetch $89 in that size. I also passed on the riveted belt the day earlier.

Hoping Barney's puts out hoards of new stuff soon.

It's washed black. The website picture is pretty accurate:

I'm curious to know this, too.  I'm searching for a pair of the fabled RRL Boss jeans in a 34 or 36 (38 was way too big for me).  I really wish I hadn't missed them when they were in stores, but I really wasn't into jeans at all then.

Where did you find the green herringbone at that price? Curious because I was given a higher quote.

I love living in a place with no sales tax on clothing now.

Anyone have the RRL Maritime Buckle-Back pants in a size 33 or 34? If so, let me know. Been looking for them ever since I shamefully traded them away.

AppleMark

Probably should be shared in a 'wdywt' post but still waiting for my digicam in the mail but it's what I wore to work today. Although they're not recent pickups but definitely pickups (roper jacket & adams boots) thanks to this thread and just wanted to share.
