How do the RRL shirts compare to Japanese repros like Real Mccoy's, Deluxeware, Freewheelers etc? The specs look similar although RRL is made in China and basically the same price. I've never owned RRL so I'm curious.

Not as nice, but a lot more variety. I guess it also depends on whether or the cut each brand uses fits you well.

Not as nice in terms of materials or construction or both?

There are a few shirts in the current collection that I would happily wear but not at the RRP when I can buy the aforementioned brands for less.

Glad this was asked and answered. RRL only caught my attention recently but at the price point have considered picking up some Real McCoys instead.

Picked up a pair of Bowery Boots and a teal workshirt yesterday. RRL makes some great boots. I went with the Washingtons last year.

Man I don't know the first thing about bikes. But it would be hard me to wear it without one. I guess since there isn't protective gear you just wear it for short local drives? Maybe you know better than me.

At $295.00 they were just too pricey but with the sale they are a proper value I think. I tried on the Irving Selvedge Shirt in SF last week and the material is really comfortable, with a lot of attention to details (love the chain stitching runoff at the bottom).

I wanted to pick up the faded black waffle-neck crewneck pullover but it is not part of the sale? Does anyone know when that would get marked down?

Awesome snag! Post a fit!

The Waverly Chambray and Irving Selvedge shirt were also solid.

Post a fit!

Very happy with the cotton waffle henley I just picked up, got a medium and it was true to size. Want to pick up the gray waffle-knit as well but the discount code doesn't seem to work on it.

Post a fit!

Must sadly admit I've never owned.

Where could I check out and order some real Mccoy to Canada?

Google did not help...

Just picked up the same RRl shirt as above in a different color. Great shirt! Congrats ;)

I'll post a picture of mine tomorrow.

I picked up the Dixon the first day it appeared because I missed out on the indian head last time. Glad i did. Xl's went fast and never made it to the sale that i know of. Anyway its got lined sleeves so an upgrade from last year. Heres a link that shows the inspiration and answers a lot of questions posed about the patch. Its killer stuff.

Cool link. The Indian patch version does have lined sleeves though

Oops my bad, thought I heard unlined, a great jacket either way then. I go between an xxl and xl in RRL and my Dixon in xl is an ok fit, though I do wish for a bit more length overall but it works fine. Anyone know if an xxl was ever made?

Hey Guys-

I'm too lazy to search through the thread- how much should I be sizing down for the slim fit rigid?

TIA-
