Care to say what those are?

I just picked a pair of RRL Murdock Boots via the online store and, while nice, the description and photos are far from accurate.  The boots are not outfitted with the "vintage deadstock Cat's Paw heel caps" as described nor are they stamped on the side with "R R L" as the image indicates.  I know inaccuracies in RRL photos and descriptions have been a point of discussion many times in the past but it never ceases to frustrate.  Online team - If you are listening, please do right by those who believe in the brand and continuously buy your products despite flagrant misrepresentation of your goods.

I think a lot of buyers buy stuff from the website and swap it and other stuff that looks similar and can be passed off as the same item, but is slightly different/different season/outlet find, etc. I'm sure the RRL website gets the ol switaroo quite often, as a seller sometimes buyers try to pull the same shit on me.

I remember being told they were going to switch manufacturers for the Murdock boots but I dont know if that came into play yet. Possible that it did and they just kept the old description/photos up

When I looked at the Murdock about a year ago, I was told they still had some older models built by Julian but the new ones might work better for me as they are a little narrower.

I was told they are switching again. It was Julian, then Rios of Mercedes, not sure who it will be now

Cool, any reason they are switching again, quality issues or just trying to save cash?

Bought my g/f some new RRL jeans.

Very nice overdyed wash that has a varnished appearance and cobalt/rusty hues. I can't tell what wash it is because the wash tag is overdyed so it is not legible. They are Vintage Straight 26w. I love the exposed rivets.

Those look a lot like the Slim Fit Hiatt Western Jean that was just released for men.

I have a pair coming from NY along with two of the new bulldog discharge shirts.

I was checking those out earlier.. the exposed rivets must be a Vintage Straight cut detail.

Wash is super nice IRL, the website photos don't do it any justice.

I'm hearing around the first week of November (SAs don't seem to have an exact date yet)

Looking to pick up a 3 piece brown tweed suit during the sale eek.gif

Was told last week of October and 25%, not sure if that is when sale starts or when you can presale

Also limited edition denim jacket coming out around then too I think

is the denim jacket raw or is it distressed?
