There's a ton of RRL patch jeans on ebay for $168, and they don't seem to be going anywhere fast.

I sure did. I think at the time it was the fact I was getting $1,500 jeans for $29.99 that drew me in.

Just remember there are a few reasons why RRL goes to Marshalls. Either no one buys it because it is too expensive, too ugly (the case with these jeans) or the items are defective. Last year when normal RRL jeans were popping up in Marshalls all over the country it was due to a lawsuit from Levi's. Ralph Lauren was forced to dump all RRL jeans at discount stores that had a very similar back pocket stitching pattern to Levi's jeans.

I'm interested in buying a new pair of RRL jeans after being pretty happy with an older pair that I bought here in the buy/sell forum. Unfortunately, I don't live anywhere close to a store that carriers RRL.

I've read that RRL stores do phone orders, and I have a general idea of the different cuts that are available, but I have no idea what any of the washes look like or their exact measurements. Any idea if a sales associate would be willing to give me that information over the phone? Especially describing the different washes? It sounds kind of crazy and a huge hassle. Suggestions for which store might be most willing to do something like this?

Barring that if anyone's interested in proxying some RRL for me please let me know.

Google RRL Melrose. The staff over there is top notch and would be willing to help you.

Bought one of these myself... Will post when I receive it, but it looks from the pictures I've seen (either this auction or auctions selling the same shirt for more cash) that it is selvedge. *edit* See this picture taken from another auction
