any thoughts on selvedge officer chino sizing?

I can't comment on the selvedge officer chinos, but every other RRL pants I've owned were VERY vanity sized. I wear a tagged 28 and the actual waist measurement is around 31-32".

that's what I figured, then saw this:

per context, these run more or less tts

I don't know if they align the waist when they take their measurements and that doesn't take into account the stretching that happens with wear.

stretch is a separate issue, would think the measurement is straight forward though...emailed context, we'll see what they say

Maybe it has changed but both my pair were vanity size by 2 (i.e. true waist 30, buy 28)

+1

my 2 pairs were approx 1.5 inch vanity sized, which then stretched a bit on top of that.

I don't get any of there invites despite shopping myself and introducing and taking friends who are visiting from abroad and have spent thousands in their shops! Maybe that is exactly why they do not send me any discounts or invites! LOL, I think it is time to stop spending too much money there!

I only get the invites from the PR team and not from the store. But i'd make yourself known to the staff in Mount Street, especially Jude or Guilio who are great guys. They'd be happy to put you on the mailing list for these kind of things.

Kind of look like slim fit straights, isn't the logo on the boot cut longer?

The Slim Straights have a single stitch back pocket embo.

I have a question about sizing on the Black on Black Low Straights.

I typically wear 33x34 in all Low Straights and 34x34 on Slim Fits. I have a pair of Black Slim Fits in 34x34 that are just too tapered and narrow for me. So I want to get them in Low Straights.

Do you recommend I size up? I have read that the black denim runs small, but I don't know if that applies to the Low Straights (this is the first season they're doing them in that, as far as I know).

I own the Black on Black Low Straights. I normally wear a 32 in Low Straights and have to size up to a 33

Woah, I was told by the RRL store in the village that black on black only came in slim fits. This has changed?
